I originally decided to become a Realtor when I realized that the education was important for my own knowledge as a person who invests in real estate.
Buying and selling real estate can be daunting and for many it is something they feel is unobtainable when it's actually not.
Once I saw how investing in my own real estate had changed the trajectory of my life, I became passionate about how much I could contribute to others with this career!

Improving the Feng Shui of your home's entrance can significantly enhance the welcoming energy and overall feel of your space. Here are six ways to make your entrance more inviting:
Many of these are super obvious and we already do them, but checking over this list will help us to get a fresh look on part of our home that we may just pass over without notice. Small shifts in an energetic way can create big results!
1. Clean and Declutter
A clutter-free entrance allows positive chi to flow smoothly into your home.
- Sweep and Clean Regularly: Ensure the pathway and entry area are clean and free of debris. This helps keep dirt at bay but also is very important for keeping energy from getting stagnant.
- Organize Shoes and Coats: Use storage solutions to keep shoes and coats tidy.
2. Brighten Up the Entryway
Good lighting is crucial for attracting positive energy.
- Install Adequate Lighting: Use bright, warm lights around the front door. I have LED light bulbs that automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn. so I can just leave them on all the time.
- Natural Light: If possible, allow natural light to illuminate the entryway during the day.
3. Welcoming Decor
Create a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere with thoughtful decor.
- Inviting Doormat: Choose a clean, bright doormat with a welcoming design or message. I don't recommend the family name on the mat- you don't want people to step on the family name to enter.
- Potted Plants: Place healthy, vibrant plants or flowers near the entrance to bring life and positive energy. Pull dead branches and keep them healthy and vibrant! -My potted plants have little cardinal statues which I later learned are good symbols welcome in positivity.
4. Clear Pathways
Ensure the pathway to your front door is clear and unobstructed. Don't created obstacles for your energy.
- Straight Path: If possible, have a clear, straight path leading to the door.
- Trim Overgrown Plants: Keep plants and shrubs well-maintained to avoid blocking the pathway.
5. Enhance the Door
- Fresh Coat of Paint Paint the door in a color that complements the overall aesthetic and aligns with Feng Shui principles (e.g., red for prosperity).
- Clean and Repair: Keep the door clean, and repair any cracks or damages. This sounds really obvious but its easy if you live somewhere to stop noticing details that need quick repair. As I wrote this, I remembered my front door has a bit of weatherstripping that has come undone. Little fixes make a big energetic difference.
6. Add Symbolic Elements
Incorporate elements that symbolize protection, abundance, and positive energy.
- Wind Chimes: Hang wind chimes near the entrance to attract positive chi and dispel negative energy.
- Symbols of Protection: Consider adding protective symbols like a Fu Dog statue or a Bagua mirror, depending on your specific Feng Shui preferences.
Implementing these Feng Shui principles can create a more inviting and harmonious entrance, setting the tone for the positive energy flow throughout your home.
